Food Security Learning Center Survey Results
Thank you to the over 200 respondents to our recent survey on the Food Security Learning Center! Feedback about
the FSLC was overwhelmingly positive -- thank you! The lucky winner of our random drawing was Diana in Colorado, who has received a WHY gift bag. We have tabulated the survey results and we will be using your responses to improve and update to FSLC in the coming year.
We were interested to learn a little more about our audience. The majority of those who completed the survey are involved in or knowledgeable about food security work, and most often use information from the FSLC to make a difference in the fight against hunger and poverty. You visit the FSLC on average once a month -- we would like to see more of you!
Topics of greatest interest to survey respondents are Domestic Hunger & Federal Food Programs (83%), Community Food Assessments (75%), and Local & Regional Food Systems (74%). Links & Resources and Program Profiles were seen as the most useful parts of the site (by 88% and 80% of respondents, respectively), with Related Articles, Policy & Advocacy, and Take Action also well-liked. Sections that respondents expressed the most interest in adding included Downloadable Materials, Food Security 101, and Teaching Tools for Educators.
Please contact us for a copy of the complete survey results or executive summary. Based on your feedback, we have started planning for some exciting updates. Check back regularly to see what's new! And, as always, if you have comments or suggestions, let us know. [mailto:FSLC@worldhungeryear.org]
